OUR HEALTH SERVICES

We care for patients from infants to the elderly. Achieving wellbeing involves the whole person, their family and their community.
We deliver frontline medicine with compassion, understanding and cultural sensitivity.

URGENT CARE

We are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day by telephone for our patients. A large portion of our appointments are same-day and walk-in —exactly what our patients like and need.

PRIMARY CARE

Comprehensive, preventive. Patients and their family see their own clinicians and form long-term relationships. We have a full lab right here in the clinic so patients don’t have to travel to another location for their lab work.

PRENATAL CARE

Right from the start, we supply the care that ensures that every baby has a good start in life. We offer prenatal classes tailored to the immigrant mother’s need.

PATIENT EDUCATION

Another priority. Education is empowerment. It is also cost effective. We are at the leading edge of effective patient education in low literacy patients.

X-RAY AND LAB SERVICES

We have a lab right here in the clinic so patients don’t have to travel to another location for their lab work.

MENTAL HEALTH

Our priority! We integrate mental health into primary care. We have counselors on site and psychiatric specialists on call. We have a collaboration with Josselyn Clinic.

INJURIES

Fenix has a digital x-ray. We also take care of minor wounds and stitches. We see a lot of workers comp cases.

HOUSE CALLS

Yes, we make house-calls for acute need for asthma in babies or children or where transportation is difficult for the elderly or disabled.

NUTRITION AND FITNESS

Comprehensive healthcare. We offer free private consults in person and some fitness classes. Be sure to check our calendar on the OPPORTUNITIES page for days and times of classes.

We are very pleased to host at FFHC the Pam Weston Wellness Program.

This program has several components:

  • Adult fitness (weekly Zumba class)
  • Fitness and nutrition after school program
  • Fitness and nutrition summer camp for school age children
  • Health Fair

At FFHC we believe that patients benefit from individualized education. Patient Advocates work one-on-one with patients to help understand their disease and comply with the treatment.

We have groups for:

  • Prenatal education
  • Post-natal /early childhood education
  • Parents with children with autism

Mental Health Services

Our patients have a high percentage of mental illness do to anxiety and depression. These patients benefit from therapy. For many patients therapy with another provider is prohibitive. They prefer to receive services in a location they already know and trust.
Once a week a therapist comes to Fenix to see these patients for at very small cost.
